Lucia was born in Peru, Illinois and joined Cross Way Publications on June 3rd, 2007.

Lucia's Biography:

I started writing 13 years ago as the direct result of a spiritual
experience that opened my eyes to the Lord's voice and presence.
By His grace, I have become the author of 2 books of poetry:

'A Gathering of Stones' published in July 2010 by Publish America, and-
'Divine Light, Living Water', published in September 2009 by Publish
America. Both books are available at Publish America.

I've also won various poetry awards, including 1st place in 2007 in
the Writers Journal poetry contest for the Shakespearean sonnet, 'Amelia.'
Most of what I write is in formal verse.

I see now how the Lord has used poetry to draw me closer to Him,
strengthen my faith in Him, and also to draw others to His name,
in what I write. Now I see the real reason for the gift.

I live in Spring Valley, Illinois with my husband, Jim, and cat
Tooner. :) We have two grown children and a precious 7 year old
granddaughter, Rayghan Jayne, whom we love to spend time with.
