Elaine's Biography:

I work as a nurse and a counselor. Writing poetry is a big part of my life that connects me to God. I write about animals and nature because I feel close to God when I am outdoors and animals remind me of His love.

Throughout my life, my faith has sustained me and I feel the presence of God through the journey of life.

Presently, I attend a Lutheran Church near my home. I have attended the Episcopal Church most of my life, teaching adult and children's church school, being a lay reader, a Stephen's minister and many other activities.

I was blessed to be married later in life to a wonderful man.
