FREEDOM
© By: Jeffrey E. Pollock

And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph
shall wave O'er the land of the free
and the home of the brave!

Freedom
takes
courage!
Red White and Blue
Enduring prayerfulness Enveloped
by the Truth--Dancing before God
out of love
not routine
or fear --
Man is
free only
when Christ
is revered!

the rule of law under God is acknowledged."

This is how much God loved the world: He gave
his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why:
so that no one need be destroyed; by believing
in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting
life. God didn't go to all the trouble of
sending his Son merely to point an accusing
finger, telling the world how bad it was. He
came to help, to put the world right again.
Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone
who refuses to trust him has long since been
under the death sentence without knowing it.
And why? Because of that person's failure to
believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when
introduced to him. -- JOHN 3:16-18 (MSG)

The Star-Spangled Banner

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's
last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright
stars thru the perilous fight, O'er the ram-
parts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting
in air, Gave proof through the night that our
flag was still there. Oh, say does that star-
spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the
free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of
the deep, Where the foe's haughty host in dread
silence reposes, What is that which the breeze,
o'er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows,
half conceals, half discloses?

Now it catches the gleam of the morning's first
beam, In full glory reflected now shines in the
stream: 'Tis the star-spangled banner!    Oh long
may it wave O'er the land of the free and the
home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confu-
sion, A home and a country should leave us no
more! Their blood has washed out their foul
footsteps' pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the
grave:And the star-spangled banner in triumph
doth wave O'er the land of the free and the
home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war's desola-
tion! Blest with victory and peace, may the
heav'n rescued land Praise the Power that hath
made and preserved us a nation. Then conquer
we must, when our cause it is just, And this
be our motto:    "In God is our trust."

And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall
wave O'er the land of the free and the
home of the brave!

John 8:34-36
Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, everyone
who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no
permanent place in the family, but a son be-
longs to it forever. So if the Son sets you
free, you will be free indeed.

Galatians 5:13
For you have been called to live in freedom,
my brothers and sisters. But don't use your
freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead,
use your freedom to serve one another in love.

Ephesians 1:7
He is so rich in kindness and grace that he
purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son
and forgave our sins.

Colossians 2:6
[ Freedom from Rules and New Life in Christ ]
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as
your Lord, you must continue to follow him.

1 Timothy 2:6
He gave his life to purchase freedom for every-
one. This is the message God gave to the world
at just the right time.

1 Peter 2:16
For you are free, yet you are God's slaves, so
don't use your freedom as an excuse to do evil.
