Karen's Biography:
I was born in Bakersfield, CA. I had a happy childhood. I was raised in a religious home, but didn't know about having a personal relationship with Jesus until I was 16 years old. That summer I accepted the Lord on the beach when 2 girls shared the "Four Spiritual Laws" with me and my cousin. That took me on an amazing journey of learning and growing in a relationship with the Living God.
I met my husband while I was in college. He was a true "Jesus freak". He has been my greatest mentor in the Lord, and the biggest fan of my poetry. We have been married for 33 years this June, 2007. We have 3 sons, 1 daughter, and 14 grandchildren.
I started writing poems after the Lord healed me of several years of depression in 2001. I had only written one poem in my life, and that was a class assignment in Jr. High school. The Lord began giving me poems as ministry and healing to my heart, and as I shared them with others, they ministered to them as well. May they be a blessing to all who read them.
